What is the difference between spring water (Poland Spring) and water from an aquifer (Fiji Water, Evian)!

Question: What is the difference between spring water (Poland Spring) and water from an aquifer (Fiji Water, Evian)
Answers:
Spring water and aquifer water can be the same thing since they both originate from underground water sources!. I have found that I happen to prefer the taste of Evian more than any other!. Since it is so expensive, I rarely buy it!. Poland Spring is pretty good, too!. The difference in taste is due to the slightly different mineral salt mix carried in the water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

None !.!.!.!.!.or, maybe a lot!. All water that's brought to the surface from beneath the ground comes from an aquifer!. If Poland Spring water really does come from a spring, then the spring exists because there's an aquifer supplying the spring!. An aquifer is simply a layer of permeable rock that absorbs water!. The water remains there until someone taps the source via a well, or the land slopes or the layers of rock are exposed in an outcropping, which then produces a spring!. Whether the water from a spring is safer than the water you drink depends upon where the water comes from!. There are many springs that are contaminated with pesticides, herbicides, and chemical pollutents!. Before you buy bottled water, have your water tested by one of the many independent laboratories which will test your water for you for a small fee!. I'ts quite possible you're wasting your money buying bottled water unnecessarily!. I do know New York city has some of the best drinking water in the country, and it's been calculated that New Orleans water has been used ~ 7 times before the people of the city get it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

None, just wasting money when safe, extremely cheap, drinking water is at your tap!. The energy and oil it takes to manufacture all those bottles, and the trash it makes, is staggering, billions of plastic bottles over the years!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think the mineral content--which accounts for a difference in taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
