not necessary, but hot water is from your boiler and may be contaminated by the boiler! Always best to make drinks from fresh cold water directly from the main water supply!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

NO! here is the scoop!.!.!.!.!. if your rebrew cold coffee it will bring out the acids and make it taste like crap!.!.!. thats it the truth!.!.!.!. try it one day and you will believe me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
