Drinking an insane amount of water in a short period of time can kill you!. Basically your body can only process so much fluids at a time!.!.!.when your body becomes over saturated fluid leaks into your bowels which pulls salt out of your body and into the fluid!. This changes the concentration of salt in your tissues!. This change causes a shift of fluids within the body which causes your lungs and Brain to swell!.

Brain swelling leads to death!. Water is good for you but you can't force more water into your body than you can process or bad things will happen!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

drinking to much water can cause an electrolyte imbalance which is also called hyperhydration or water intoxication which means that the water has flushed all the nutrients and salts out of your system which your body needs!.

The electrolyte imbalance can be corrected by supplementing some gatorade or powerade but in order for this to happen a person must consume upwards of three gallons of water in a short period of time!. Not something the average person has to worry about!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, drinking excessive quantities of water can cause your bladder to rupture, or you can take in too much liquid through your intestines and effectively drown yourself from the inside!.

I live in Davis and remember this sad story!.
