Question: My iced green tea jug smells like nail polish remover
the other day i went to drink out of my 2 quart iced green tea from turkey hill at my dads and i smelled it and it smelled exactly like nail polish remover!.!.!. how could this happen!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most likely that is a form of mold and bacteria beginning to grow!. You can put a few drops of bleach in the jug with the rest water and let it sit for a few hours!. Then wash it really well with a dishsoap and rinse it very well with claen water!. It should be as good as new!.

Perhaps it went bad, or someone dumped some nail polish remover in it!. I know with different juices, the longer they sit, the more they smell like alcohol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
