Is chai tea normally caffeinated?!


Question: Is chai tea normally caffeinated!?
I have some organic chai tea and it just comes in a little baggie that is clear, so it doesn't have any info on it!. I'm wondering if it is caffeinated!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes Chai Tea is caffeinated! Most black teas are, and thats why it's called Chai, its kind of an uplifting drink to make you feel energized!

And also because it's normally pretty sugary, at least if you buy it in store as the drink!. :)

Chai tea is made with black tea which contains caffeine!. So if you don't have the box it came in there's no way to know whether it's caffeinated or not unless of course you drink it and can tell the difference!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes it is! If you go to a Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or Panera Bread they will have it with caffenine!. However, at the grocery store you can buy decafe if you wanted too!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Normally, yes!. There are many variations though!. I have some decaf green chai bags, but usually chai is a black, caffeinated tea mixed with various spices like clove and cinnamon, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
