What shops sell coconut milk in England?!

It is just about everywhere but maybe you have been looking in the wrong section!. All supermarkets stock it and it is usually in the section where they put all the curry sauces and chinese ingredients!. It is either tinned, in a block (coconut cream that you can add water to to to make milk) or in powder form!. I like the latter as it stores well in an air tight container and lasts ages!. There was a time when you could only by this 'exotic' ingredient from asian or chinese supermarkets (probably still your best bet today), however it is increasingly common to find it in your local supermarket!. Just take a look in the 'ethnic foods' section of your supermarket!. Most medium to large supermarkets should carry coconut milk!.

I agree!. It's not as easy to find as you would think!. For curries, etc!., I use yoghurt (more traditional than milk or cream) and those little sachets of solid creamed coconut!. Yoghurt is no trouble to find and the sachets do seem more readily available!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
