Is it possible to EXPLODE from Coke and Mentos?!

Question: Is it possible to EXPLODE from Coke and Mentos!?
Okay so I saw and heard something that if u drink 1 liter of coke and 1 pack of mentos that you will explode!? True or not!? Frankly I think its hard jus to drink one liter of coke!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
No!. The reaction between Diet Coke (or any soda, really, as long as it contains aspartame) & Mentos only happens if the Mentos are still all in one piece - the reaction happens partly because mint Mentos are covered with all these tiny pits!. (There are other factors, too, like the soda's carbonation, but I don't know how that would work out if the soda was in your stomach rather than in the bottle!.)

And, yeah, I think it would be pretty hard to drink a liter of soda! =)

Having seen what coke (usually diet coke) and mentos can do in the way of a sprayed high fountain , I certainly wouldn't want to find out!. I don't think that you would actually explode, but I don't like the possibilities!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

lol no its not possible but i saw this video on you tube where this guy did it!. he ate a lot of mintos first then drank as much coke as he could!. All the foam started coming out of his mouth and butt!. lol i couldn't stop laughing!. look it up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think the T!.V!. show mythbusters on the discovery channel might have proved this either wrong or right!.!.!.I would google the mythbusters website!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That is completely false!. What I think you heard was them pouring 1 pack of mentos into a liter of coke!. That is the only way it will workWww@FoodAQ@Com
