How do they come up with the use by dates for bottled water?!

Question: How do they come up with the use by dates for bottled water!?
Answers:
The use by date on bottled water is 2 years from the date the water was bottled!. The reason for the use by date is actually the quality of the plastic, which in turn effects the quality of the water!.

After water has been in a plastic bottle for long enough (more than the 2 year mark) it can begin to take on the taste of the plastic!. Since the plastic will absorb smells around it, this can leave the water tasting like whatever it's been stored near!.

Basically, if you consume water after the "best by" date, you're not going to be sick-- it just wont be the most pure bottle of water you've tasted!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think its up to the item like water last years !.soda about months!.but i also think its just an estimate because its sometimes its good after the datesWww@FoodAQ@Com

The actually do sample experiments and use professional tasters keeping detailed statistical data, believe it or not!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Honestly I have no idea, but what an interesting Q!

:-)

Possible tests on previous batches to see how long they remain drinkable, fresh and don't turn bacteria-laden!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

probably by taking tests on what substances they put in the drink and how long it lasts for then add them altogether

ps just guessingWww@FoodAQ@Com
