Brita filter question!

Question: Brita filter question
I changed my the filter in my brita water pitcher a few weeks ago, but I keep finding the little black carbon specks in the bottom of my water glass!. Is it bad to drink the water!?

I did soak the thing for 15 minutes before using it, and I did run through a couple gallons before actually drinking!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
You just need to buy a new filter!. They don't last as long as they say they will!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Filters are notoriously unreliable unless you know which one to get!. If you need to get clean water, distill it in a large pot to air out the chlorine and let the particles settle after a few hours!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No it is not bad to drink it!. but maybe you should change it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
