How long does fresh brewed ice tea keep for?!

I make it for my family (one gallon with caffeine and one decaf) and it stays in the fridge and is good for about six days!. The reason we know this is because we use the flat square containers with a plastic spigot and the sediment begins to settle and look filmy on the bottom of the container and no one will drink the last inch of tea on the bottom!Www@FoodAQ@Com
