Answers:
As others have said, this is just making Jello by the package instructions!.

Can you use 7 Up!? Yes, but you need to make sure that it's at room temperature and that you use it only to replace the "cold" water!. If you use this as the boiling water, it will lack the carbonation!. The taste difference will be very minor!.

7-Up (or ginger ale) works well in Jello, when used in this way!. It can make the Jello fizzy!.

One other tip: consider if you want shots that are runny (use a little extra liquid) or extra stiff (look for the recipe for "Jigglers" which sometimes appears on the package)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It works best with Alcohol here is the recipe I use:

6 ounces Jello (large package)
16 ounces Water (boiling)
6 ounces Water (cold)
10 ounces Vodka

Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and add the cold water and alcohol!. Pour the cooling mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups!. Shot glasses are more attractive, but drinker can turn the paper cups inside-out to more easily eat the alcoholic jello!.

That would be regular Jello!. Just like if you ordered a vigin strawberry daquiri, it would be the strawberry flavoring, strawberries, and ice mixed in a blender!. Sometimes they put whip topping on top of the virgin drinks!. What you want is jello!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
