Why do restaurants add ice to fountain drinks when they are already cold?!

Question: Why do restaurants add ice to fountain drinks when they are already cold!?
Answers:
I always say, "light light ice please!" The less ice, the more you get for your money! The more ice, the less product!. Besides, ice only waters down pop or juice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's just standard practice!. You can always ask for no ice!. Postmix drinks are a thick syrup mixed with gassy water!. They're pretty disgusting without ice and get warm and icky pretty quickly, and a nice icy glass of drink looks more aesthetically pleasing!. It's not to try and rip you off - ice costs money too,Www@FoodAQ@Com

It saves them money!. Ice takes up volume in the cup and therefore the restaurant saves on the cost of their beverages!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Do you live in the USA!?
We like our drinks really cold!. I lived in Italy for 3 years & had to drink my drinks hot!. (gross) It gave me a stomach ache!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They want the ice to take up more room, so they give you less drink, for the same price!. Ripoff!. Ask for no ice!. ! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because the ice takes up more room in the cup, thus giving you little drink!. I always ask for no ice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because then it keeps them cold and the restaurant can fill the cup with ice, which is cheaper than the fountain drinkWww@FoodAQ@Com

So they can give you less soda!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

to keep the drink coldWww@FoodAQ@Com
