Answers:
Soda on its own cannot make you blind!. The fact that the man didn't know he was blind is a telltale that the story is bogus!.
There is some truth in that story!.Undetected and untreated diabetes can make people go blind, and soda can speed up the progress of diabetes!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh please!. Soda was created as a medicine!.

The problem is that drinking too much soda ( I assume that by soda you mean things like Coca-Cola and such, rather than Club soda used in mixed drinks) contributes to obesity and can end up addicting you to caffeine!.

Drink soda in moderation every once in a while and be at peace!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think your Health teacher is trying to pull a fast one on you in an effort to get the class as a whole to drink less soda and to drink more healthy things like water, juice and milk!. And to answer your question, no, soda does not make you go blind!.

Well if that was the case I would be blind by now!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
