Are children allowed to purchase "5 Hour Energy Shots"?!
I own a deli and I just got in a order of these "Eneergy Shots"!. I put them out and today a 12 or 13 year old boy tried to purchase one!. I it legal to sell these to children/teens!?
I told the boy that I wanteed to look up whether he is allowed to purchase them and to come back tomorrow!. I also said if he WAS allowed to purchase them I will give him one for free!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I wasn't pretty sure if it was legal!. I live near a gas station and a deli near by as well and they have a section [ in the station ] where the Energy drinks are!. I'd see a bunch of 6th graders getting them but the staff would ask if they were allowed if they went to the store themselves!.It really isn't a good idea to drink them so much
What i want to know is why because i know some of the drinks have vodka or alot of carbohydrates and sugar !.
