What does diet soda do?!
My parents have been trying to lose weight for like 10 years!. They always buy diet soda, and I never drank the stuff because It's disgusting!. They bought diet root beer a week ago though, and root beer is my favorite drink of all time, and I can't taste the difference between diet and non with root beer!.
So, yea, I had been drinking this for the past 3 nights or so, and it makes my stomach really kill, man! It feels like it's burning up inside me and like I may puke!. This isn't really a question, per say, but if it were I know you would all just tell me to stop drinking it, and I'm not a drooling idiot and have resolved to do so already!.
So, can you please, using scientific knowledge, links, and wikipedia, list all of the nasty things diet soda does to your insides!. I want to know!.

Diet Cola has all the negative aspects , acidic content, of regular Cola!. The sweeteners in diet cole Aspartame, has been shown to cause cancer in lab animals but only in large doses, you cant even get close to a large dose of aspartame by drinking nothing but diet cola!.
