Why does my Kool Aid mix suck?!
After adding the right amount of water and loads of sugar and stirring it still tastes watery and sour!. Is it meant to be like that!?

Well, that's what Kool Aid is like - watery and sour!. If you aren't used to drinking it, that is!.!.!.
To a regular packet of powder, add one cup white sugar, and 8 cups (measure them) water!. Voila! Coloured sugar water!
(Don't get me wrong, I love Kool Aid!!! But it is what it is - it's not juice or pop!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

It may be 'stale' - sometimes when even powdered mixes, like drink or cake mixes, are old (you never know how long those have been sitting on the shelf!), they won't blend as they should!. Even if it was newer, it's possible that a small amt!. of moisture got into the packet and compromised the flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You're prolly not adding enough sugar!.!.!. I add 1 1/4 cup (US) per every packet of Kool-Aid!.
So i believe it would be 8 cups water, 1 1/4 cup sugar and 1 kool-aid packet (US)Www@FoodAQ@Com

maybe you put too push water then you thought, or it can be that you didn't add as much Kool-Aid to it!?
