Answers:
Number 1 rule in making a proper English cuppa, you warm the teapot first, could never fathom it myself but apparently it's the law!
Secondly, tip out the warmed water!.
Thirdly, if using dry tea, it's 1 tsp per cup + 1 for the pot, or equivalent in teabags
Fill with boiling water and let "mash" (couple of minutes)
Enjoy!.
(thank goodness for the old teabag in a cup trick)
Tea always goes into the cup first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well i dont use a teapot i just pour the water straight from the kettle!.

First teabag, then sugar, then hot water!.!. then leave the teabag in for a minute or so!.!. strain the teabag!.!. then stir in milk =)

If your using a teapot then id put teabag (1 for every cup of tea) in the teapot, then hot water, let it steep for 2 or 3 mins (depending on how strong you like it) then pour the water in the cups!.!. add sugar and then stir in milk

Oh and make sure the water is boiling not just hot!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
