oil / bacteria ,another piece of info straight from a coca cola tech that fixes their equipment ,put soda in a glass ,if the glass is dirty the bubbles cling to side of glass (i mean you see allot ,of bubbles clinging ) then clean the glass very well you will see the bubbles do not cling !. just another thing to ***** about when you go to a restaurant and they serve you a dirty glass lol !. i work in restaurant but thought it was a little something for a customer to know also Www@FoodAQ@Com

This oils on your skin act as de-foamers and cause the bubbles to pop more rapidly, so it appears that the fizzing stops!.
