Question: Using a regular coffee maker to make only a couple cups!?

I don't drink coffee, but my fiance does!. I make him coffee in the morning, but the filters always end up falling over inside the coffee maker and the grounds sometimes get in the coffee pot!. I think this is because I only put enough coffee grounds for a few cups of coffee in there, and the filter doesn't have enough to hold it up!. Any suggestions how I can make it so no coffee grounds get in the pot!? thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You may try a different brand of filter!. Make sure filters and the basket are dry!. Check the maker of the coffee pot then check if it specifies a certain type of filter!.

Mr Coffee makes a little bitty coffee maker that only makes 4 cups
they are very nice for one person
