Is it possible to eat or drink too much fiber or too much tea?!
I've started drinking a lot of instant tea, made from "Kellogg's Iced Tea All-Bran Fiber Drink Mix!." According to the nutrition facts label, each serving has 20 calories, including 12 grams of carbohydrates, of which 10 grams are fiber!. For people who figure "net carbs," it would have only 2 net carbs per glass of tea!. Each serving is supposed to provide 40% of the daily value of fiber!. If I drink 10 glasses per day, getting 400% of the daily value of fiber, could there be any problem!? There isn't any upper limit on fiber, is there!? And could that much tea be a problem!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

tea has tanic acid and too much can mess with mineral absorption!. healthwise, i don't think you can eat too much fiber but you will experience some unpleasant side effects if you up your fiber a lot!. you can imagine!.
i'd switch to a standard instant tea!. otherwise you won't feel very good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you drink tea, you should drink freshly brewed tea!. The instant stuff has so many bad chemicals in it!. And the fiber from that drink is probably not helping you!. You should get your fiber from natural sources like vegetables and fruit and whole grains!. Check the ingredients in those products you are referring to and you'll find one or more ingredients you can't pronounce!. That's not a good thing!. stick to natural!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Anything good for us can still have too much consumed and make it bad!.
If you take too much fiber you will get the squirts pretty bad!.
Too much tea will add too much sugar and caffeine to your diet!. Sugar equals calories and can contribute to weight gain which can then lead to heart disease and diabetes!. The maximum safe level of caffeine intake we should consume in a day is 300mg!. Large amounts of caffeine on a regular basis can cause you to get addicted to it!.
The bad effects of excess caffeine is dehydration, sleeping problems, headaches, muscle aches and pains, problems with the kidneys, heart, skin and other organs!. Plus caffeine also depletes the body of calcium and B vitamins so that can cause other problems too!.
Regular tea is normally black tea which has 50mg of caffeine in it!. so 10 glasses will be 500mg of caffeine which is almost double the maximum safe level!.
As far as the fiber goes I am not as familiar with fiber!. I do know the RDA/RDI was established as the minimum amounts needed to prevent nutritional deficiency diseases and for optimal health we do need more!. This can be easily several hundred times more the amounts recommended too!. But as I said I don't know what the limits is with fiber before you won't be able to hold in a bile movement!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
