Is coca cola really a secret recipie?!

Question: Is coca cola really a secret recipie!?
my mum told me years ago -whe i was younger that the making of coca cola is a big secret and only a few people know what goes on it - but the ingredients are pri nted on most cans so how can it be a secret - i thought by law all food and drink has to state exactly what goes in a product for allergy issues etc
i also heard a rumour that cocaine was in coke - is this also true or a myth and is their a secret ingredient- if so do they not have to list it in ingredients due to health and safety laws etc
does anyone know what this ingredient may be!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
yes they have to print the ingrediants on the side of the can but they dont have to say how much of each they put in!.
also no there is no cocaine in coke, I once heard though it was first invented as a medicine to help sick people keep their strength up!.

I used to think cidona was actually cider!.

Today, coke is not a secret, and all foods have ingredient labels on them!. Coke does not have cocaine!. If they did, we would hear it in the news all the time!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well along time ago coca cola did contain cocaine however it was removed in the 20th century!. the ingredients are on the packaging however the exact amounts are not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I thought it was just artificially coloured water with artificial flavours!. I would be surprised if there was anything good for you in it!. tastes like liquid chemicals to me!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I heard that someone at Coca Cola tried to sell the recipe to Pepsi but they refused it so it must still be a secret!.

I seriously doubt there's cocaine in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
