Answers:
regular tastes better!.!. to me at leastWww@FoodAQ@Com

Well Jack, Regular soda taste like soda, not chemicals!. And regular soda usually does not contain sweeteners that can be substituted for rat poison!. And most people who drink diet soda also order a Big Mac and fries and say "yes" to "do ya want an apple pie with that!?"
Yeah, I'm fat, but I don't drink very many sodas so a regular won't have that much effect on my gain or loss column!.
Besides most sweetners leave a foul taste in my mouth that takes days to clear out!.

PS!.!.!.The Big Mac thing is about others, I have NEVER eaten a big mac or AT mcdonalds!. AND I NEVER WILL!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I can only speak for myself, but: life is too short to drink something as nasty-tasting as diet soda!. I drink soda maybe once a month (if that often), and when I drink that soda, I want to enjoy it!. I want it to taste like sugar and syrup, NOT like a can full of chemicals!. What's the point of drinking something you know is bad for you if you don't even enjoy it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because we aren't worried about the calories!. If you eat decently, a few extra calories aren't going to make that big of difference!. And maybe we have high metabolisms!. And, the diet stuff is so syrupy and is an acquired taste!. But drinking it long enough to acquire the taste is too hard!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why drink Soda at all!?

Used to drink regular stuff, then someone pointed out the calories!.
Switched to Diet, till you do some reading on the nasty stuff that the "artificial sweeteners" may be doing long term!.

After that !.!.!.!. why not go with Water, Tea, Iced Tea, Lemonaid, and dare I say !.!.!.!. fruit juices!?!?!?!?!?

Pop is not a requirement!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because the chemicals in the diet soda can be even more harmful for your body than the sugar in the regular soda!. Besides, it tastes better!

I know this because of being pregnant - my doctor warned against chemicals, though regular soda is okay in moderation!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

seem people like when they feel all hyper from all the sugars!. some people cant help them selves and would rather have regular cause they taste a little different, and some people just dont care!. i would rather chose a diet cause i am a helathy person, not too fat but not too skinny!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Splenda and aspartame are worse for you than sugar!. At least sugar is natural!. On the rare occasion I do have a soda, I only drink sodas with real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup, which is much worse for you than sugar!.

To correct: the diet and regular have the same num!. of sugar and calories!. People just choose regular because they like sugar!. They get energy from it(they feel)!. Each person has a different reason!. That's all I know!. Hope I helped! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

my ex's father is a brain surgeon and he absolutely refused to let anyone in his family drink diet soda!. the artificial sweeteners can cause some nasty problems in the long run!. that was enough for me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Taste i hate diet soda!. if i could not drink regular soda i would drink none at all!. a few sodas will not make you fat i drink one or two a day at the most unless it is a really hot dayWww@FoodAQ@Com
