How much soda does the average American consume per day?!


Question: How much soda does the average American consume per day!?
Just curios!. I drink two (20oz) diet sodas every night at work and I thought that wasn't very much!. My not-very-bright coworker disagrees!.

FYI I also always drink 1/2 gallon of water per day so I'm not hydrating from soda!. I work graveyard and need my caffeine buzz!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

I drink about the same as you and while I wouldn't describe myself as "average", I suspect everyone else would!. =)
