Calcium-added orange juice doesn't make me less thirsty. Why? How much water should I drink to correct this?!

Question: Calcium-added orange juice doesn't make me less thirsty!. Why!? How much water should I drink to correct this!?
I've noticed that if I'm thirsty, and I drink a lot of orange juice (with calcium added), it doesn't seem to quench my thirst all that well!. I'm trying to figure out how much water I should chase a glass of orange juice with to counteract this!. I don't want to add water to my orange juice directly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why should orange juice with added calcium do a better job at quenching your thirst than regular orange juice!? This makes absolutely no sense at all!.

It can simply be because of the sugars in the juice!. Otherwise without having caffeine in it then it should do an adequate job at hydrating you!. But if it is not working then just drink an equal amount of water after the OJ!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It may be because you already have enough calcium in your body from your regular diet!.

You might want to switch to regular OJ, with just plain old real OJ, no additives!. And Orange drink is not OJ!. It is fake!.

Sometimes, OJ in a carton, or made according to the can instructions is too strong!. So your body craves water, but you are not getting enough!.!.!.!.

A possible solution is either:

1) Increase your daily intake of just plain water!.

2) take your regular glass of OJ!. Fill it 2/3 of what you would normally pour!. Fill the remaining third with water!. Stir, drink!. You may need to add a little more, or a little less water, to get the proportion your body needs!.

There is one other possibility!.
Have you been checked for diabetes!? It would be a bummer to discover you are diabetic (as I discovered about 8 years ago), but better to know sooner than later!. The onset of diabetes is often signalled ny increased thirst, you see!.!.!.

So I suggest you talk to a diabetic, we are all around, and they might be able to help you decide/discover!. One way, would be to ask them to test you on their meter!.

Nothing quite beats H2O when it comes to quenching thirst!. However, if you've noticed that you are thirstier than usual, you might want to get your insulin levels checked and consult with your doctor!. Excessive thirst can be one of the indicators of a diabetic condition!. also, the rule of thumb for water consumption is about 8 full glasses a day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

because, the oranges make your testosterone levels decrease by 458%, so when you drink it makes your balls swell up like oranges and sucks the moisture from your body Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should be getting 8 glasses of water a day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
