What type of green tea is it?!

Question: What type of green tea is it!?
So I started drinking a lot of green tea recently, using loose green tea in a metal tea seeper!. I really want to know what kind of green tea it is! (I know there are several different types!.) The tea is straight from China, bought by my uncle while he was there!. It came in a pretty, small, gold container with Asian print on it and some Chinese writing!. The tea itself is not finely ground, it is mostly small and twiglike, but in water the leaves rehydrate to their normal size!. The taste is very herbal, I guess astrigent, not very sweet, slightly bitter!. It is still good, though, it tastes better than the stupid bags you buy at the grocery store!. It also has little particles that come out of the seeper!. And finally, the second I pour hot water on it the water begins to turn green!. Thankss!Www@FoodAQ@Com

The English version for it made by "Taylors of Harrogate" ( and others) is called "Gunpowder Green"!.
The leaves are rolled by hand in China!.
What I mean is , it's made in China and Taylor's is the merchant/packer!.

It's available in the USA( we sell it in our store) and in Aussie also)
