Don't like coffee any more?!

Question: Don't like coffee any more!?
Every once in a while I get the feeling that I really don't want any coffee to drink!. Usually, I'm anxious for the first cup, and then drink several more during the first part of the day!. I do try to quit drinking coffee by late afternoon, because too much will keep me awake!. However, for the past few days, I haven't wanted coffee at all!. Is my body trying to tell me something!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Your body will crave things for 2 reasons!. One is you need it and the other is you are addicted to it!. When we are addicted our body only thinks it can't function without it!. Caffeine is addictive and can have this effect!.

Caffeine is a decent stimulant but we should not have to rely on it every single day to get us going!. Especially as much as in coffee!. It starts at 85mg!. If we must rely on energy drinks and coffee every day to get us going then we are doing something wrong!.

If you get enough sleep, water, proper nutrition with adding a high quality multi vitamin/mineral supplement, a good breakfast, green tea (which has only 30mg of caffeine), and exercise then most of us will be fine!. We can even add a high quality multi B complex and also Ginseng with Ginko Biloba to help with energy!. We all still will need a boost from time to time but not every single day!.

If you have not wanted it the last few days then you are not actually addicted to the caffeine and you obviously are doing well enough that you don't need that crutch to get you going!. That is good cause it sounds like you drink too much anyhow!.

At 85mg of caffeine and higher the most you should have is only 3 cups!. The maximum safe level of caffeine intake we should have in a day is 300mg!. Problems resulting in long term, regular use of too much caffeine leads to sleeping problems, dehydration problems, kidney problems, heart problems, skin problems, and problems with other organs too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

when you crave something your body is usually trying to get nutrients from the food or drink you crave!. So maybe (just a guess) when your not craving it any more your body has either found a different way of getting the nutrients or you just don't need those nutrients anymore!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
