Answers:
You can still drink milk after the sell by date!. Depending on your fridge temp, how many times it is taken out of the fridge and how long it is out each time it can last up to a week beyond the sell by date!. On the rare occasion it actually expires the sell by date!. Just give it a sniff test!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

sell by date, expiration date, use by date, and best before date, all mean different things!. a sell by date is the date the shop needs to sell the product by, so it should be good for a few days after!. Use your nose!. First, swirl the milk bottle to make sure it's still liquid, then smell it!. If it smells bad, don't drink it!. Our noses evolved to tell us such things as whether or not milk is drinkable!. Definitely swirl it first though, there is nothing worse than sticking your nose into milk that is nearly solid and has been sitting on the common room benchtop for a week (i know this from experience!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always smell my milk before I drink it!. I've had bad milk that was supposedly goood and good milk that was supposedly bad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it doesn't smell sour or taste bad, it should still be okay to drink!. My family uses a seven day rule!.!.!.it's drinkable for up to 7 days after the sell by date!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
