Why does soda cost less than water?!

Question: Why does soda cost less than water!?
Answers:
good question!. bottled water is a snob good and fancy bottles of it can cost several multiples of an equivalent volume of fizzy sugary soda which may actually cost more to produce as for the sugar, carbon dioxide et cetera!.
a perception is that one is participating in a more rarefied exclusive lifestyle by drinking perrier than drinking fanta!. a supreme irony is that bottled water often contains more harmful stuff than tap, like phtalates and bacteria!. there is a new movement in posh restaurants to eschew posh bottled as nonsense and ecologically unsound(all that transport and plastic) and to simply make their own fizzy and flat tap water available Www@FoodAQ@Com
