but i'm a bit of a germaphob!. in high school i always played completive sports, but other girls would forget their water bottle and want to share!. i hate not sharing so i would just take another long last drink and then give them my water bottle!. even friends and teammates!.!.!. you never know what they have!!

On average, the students found that three to six double dips transferred about 10,000 bacteria from the eater’s mouth to the remaining dip!.
Each cracker picked up between one and two grams of dip!. That means that sporadic double dipping in a cup of dip would transfer at least 50 to 100 bacteria from one mouth to another with every bite!.

People may believe that their mouths are pristine after a good brushing and flossing!. But the truth is that the human mouth is home to so many microbes that some researchers compare it to a rain forest for the diversity of life and vast territory yet to be explored!.
A study by Stanford researchers supports this analogy by identifying 37 new kinds of bacteria thriving between the teeth and gums!. The research brings the total known species of oral wildlife to about 500, some of which are permanent residents, while others may just be passing through!.
"The mouth is a plush ecosystem unto itself, and we are just beginning to see what is really there," said David Relman, the study's team leader and an assistant professor of medicine and microbiology!. "People like to go to Africa to stare at animals, but micro-organisms are far more diverse!."Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is a great way for germs to spread from one mouth to another!. It really isn't bad if you don't mind getting ill!. Small diseases such as the common cold can be passed as well as worse diseases like Mononucleosis (aka The Kissing Disease) I still do it and nothing bad has ever come from it!. Just be careful who you drink after!.

Bad!.!.!. good!? I don't know!. Is it bad to kiss someone!?
Potentially, sharing drinks can cause some problems!. You can get sick, but usually not seriously sick!. A very improbable risk is bacterial meningitis!. If you're in a large school or college campus, it's probably best to avoid sharing drinks just in case!.
Otherwise, honestly, it's probably not such a big deal although it's probably the easiest way to get a cold or flu!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'll drink from the same bottle/cup/glass as my fiance!. I kiss him so not that much difference!. I've also tasted an alcoholic drink with some of my girlfriends!. That's not that big of a deal to me!. Plus, the alcohol should ward off the bacteria!. My son is 7, I would never drink after him!. There's so much backwash- it's gross!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Uh!.!.!.Yes
You are passing germs back and forth!. If they are sick, you could get sick!. Best case scenario is you get to swallow the backwash from your friendWww@FoodAQ@Com
