It doesn't matter much after a few minutes!.!.!.but If you put the ice in afterward you may have a little more luck!. The liquid you would be pouring on the ice will make the ice melt a little faster than usual!. !. However putting the ice in after wards tends to be messy!.
& BTW fun fact, ice doesn't technically cool the drink, the drink technically warms the ice!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Before you put the drink in your cup!. As you pour it goes directly over the ice and the ice stays at the top of the drink therefore continuing to pour on the ice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
