Pink vs. Regular Lemonade?!

I actually heard on the Food Network from that Alton Brown guy that there really is NO difference between the two other than the color!. A study was done on the two lemonades and people were asked to give their opinion on the taste!. The pink lemonade always was described as sweeter and lighter in flavor and the regular lemonade was almost always described as being more tart and sour!. However, in most pink and yellow lemonades there is not one bit of difference except the color!. It's more of a psychological thing from what I understand!. I guess it would be neat to do an experiment and actually see if that was true!

In most cases it is nothing more than food coloring and it is typically made just a bit sweeter!. Sometimes pink lemons are used but this is somewhat rare!. Other very common variations include using red grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, strawberries, or grenadine syrup to get the familiar pink coloring!.

I can tell a fairly big difference, between the two lemonades!.!.!.in taste as well as in color!.
