Is tea good over night?!
I was just wondering If you brew tea like at 10Pm nd put it in the fridge and drink it the next day, is it ok!? Because my mom said that overnight tea isn't good for you because some chemical is released or something she couldnt' really explain it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard!.!.!.!.the tea is totally fine to drink even DAYS AFTER you've made it!.
Iced tea usually turns cloudy because you've chilled it too quickly, like putting it straight into the fridge while still quite warm!. Various particles in the tea (like tannin) come out of solution and darken your iced tea!.
Let your freshly made iced tea cool to room temperature before putting it in the fridge!.

The tea leaves can provide nutrition to support molds and bacteria, and the tea leaves can bring those contaminants with them even if the water is clean!. If you leave the tea at room temperature, you run a risk of getting sick!. It's very slight, but it is a risk!.

Nonsense!. If it is in the fridge it will be fine!. It can still grow some mold over time but overnight will not be an issue!. If it was as bad as she made it out to be they would not be able to sell iced tea in bottles, especially by the gallon in the stores!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
