Why does mineral water that has trickled through mountains for centuries have a use by date? ?!

Question: Why does mineral water that has trickled through mountains for centuries have a use by date!? !?
Answers:
Because it crossed the mountains but didn't find the place where all children go every night after listening to the lullabyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Because the actual water isn't centuries old, only the path that it took through the mountains is!. It trickles through and keeps going down the mountain to larger bodies of water below, only to be replenished by rainwater in the mountains to start the process all over again!.

Many plastics don't taint the water!. The bottles are sterile when the water is put in them and as long as they're not opened the water is fine!. There is however ongoing legislation about certain kinds of plastics that have been used to make water bottles that may taint it!.

Depending on what minerals are in the water, the water can develop a stale taste over time!.!.!.not poisonous or harmful in any way, but it may not taste as fresh as it can!. Most food and beverage items are still perfectly good after their use by dates if they're not opened anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1) the plastic the bottle is made of leaches potentially dangerous/unpleasant chemicals into the water
2) if that's not enough anaerobic bacteria could develop after a period in storage and so constitute a second potential health hazard
3) Trading Standards/Consumer Protection legislation in case either of the above happen and the store is sued Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think its the ppl that sell bottled water if ya silly enough to buy bottled water u would believe what they say remember a Famous fizzy drink maker was selling tap water in bottles a few years ago and got caught so u never know could u ppl be drinking peckam spring water ;-)

because the plastic from the bottle will taint the water eventually!.!.!.that's my guess anyway!.!.!. sort of like how they tell you not to drink bottled water that's been open for too long or not to keep refilling the same bottle!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

It must have something to do with the materials, that the spring water is stored in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not the water, but the bottle!. Plastics leach into the water and give it an off taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

every single thing these days has a use by date, i can remember the days when you used your nose and common senseWww@FoodAQ@Com

its the law every thing must have a use by date or a best before date Www@FoodAQ@Com
