Question: Can you boil milk in a kettle!?
I like a hot chocolate in the morning, but it takes ages boiling the milk in the microwave, is it advisable to boil milk using the kettle!?

Answers:
You should never actually boil milk because it burns it and u lose the goodness of the mile, rather scald it it tasted better and you know it's healthier!.

Anyway milk should not be warmed over a direct heat as I mentioned earlier, think of it this way when the milk starts coming over the edge of the cup consider the goodness gone!. That film along the tap is the mils natural fat called lactose which has formed a skin, the proteing either sticks to the bottom and sides of the cup or joins this film!.!.!. that's the half of it :)

Don't try it!.!.!. it will damage ur kettle too :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Why do you want to do that for!?
You know how milk boils over when they are boiling!.!.!.it will undoubtedly do the same in the kettle when it is boiling!.
Nothing wrong with boiling the milk using the saucepan or the microwave!. Don't be so lazy!

You can't be using the microwave right if it takes that long to boil!.

One tip!. Mix your chocolate thouroughly with a little hot water first then add milk!. Put in your microwave and cook as per your manual instructions!. It usually takes about 2mins (only estimate) on high for a 900w microwave, more if your microwave has lower watts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes it will boil but you get rather a gungy element in the kettle, You can wash or scour a saucepan But not a kettle easily, Oh One cup of milk in a decent microwave takes less than two minutes How quick you want it!?!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. Then you can go out and buy a new kettle ready for tomorrow's breakfast!.
I have a 650w microwave and can boil a mug of milk in less than two minutes, what is your definition of ages!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It might take considerably longer to clean the kettle afterwards than to boil milk in the microwave!.

And never put a sock in a toaster!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will boil but you will really gunk up your kettle!.

The fastest way that is clean is a powerful microwave, followed by a saucepan!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

WHY NOT BOIL THE MILK IN A SAUCE PAN !?!?!?!?!?
EASIER THAN BOILING IT IN THE MICROWAVE AND BOILING IT IN A KETTLE IS REALLY NOT ADVISABLEWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think that you can but the kettle would need a good clean out afterwards as milk leaves a residueWww@FoodAQ@Com

i don't think you can i wouldn't risk it lol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
