Why does tea stain cups so badly nowadays?!

Question: Why does tea stain cups so badly nowadays!?
Answers:
As I have a dishwasher it sorts out the problem!. I think tea is not like it use to be!. It is whatever kind of stuff they are putting into it nowadays!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

What few people understand is that modern teacups contain large amounts of steel these days mixed in with porcelain!. I am not sure exactly why the do this but I think it has something to do with the fact that steel rusts and they figure the cups will rust and stain causing you to purchase them frequently!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i know what you mean it even stains the tea spoons after awhile how i clean mine is i use baby sterilising tablets and i put one in each cup filled with cold water i also fill a pint glass put all Your teaspoons in their and put 2 tablets in their with cold water and leave it over night and then wash your spoons and cups as normal and all the stains will be gone hope this helpsWww@FoodAQ@Com

My mom says if you let them soak in the sink for a couple hours with some liquid dishwashing detergent in them the stains come out!. Works when you have somthing really burned onto the bottom of a pot too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No idea but come to think of it my nans teacups never used to have stains in them!.
I clean mine by soaking them in diluted bleach, it works a treat :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

It doesn't if you have a dishwasher - if you are washing up by hand I suggest a scrubbing brush and a change of washing up liquid brand!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think its more to do with the fact that we use dishwashers now were as 10 years ago you would give them a good scrub rather than spaying water on them regardless of how good the dishwasher or cleaner isWww@FoodAQ@Com
