What would cause an orange juice carton to balloon?!

Question: What would cause an orange juice carton to balloon!?
I just picked up some oj the other day and when I went to get it out this morning, the carton was ballooned out!. Like it had gotten warm or something- you know how that happens to like milk, and bags of lettuce!? Why did it happen to my orange juice, and why so quickly!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It likely got warm!. It may have something to do with the acidity of the orange juice (citric acid)!. If it gets warm it almost acts like it is fermenting, which produces gas!. The gas then causes the carton to expand since the gas has nowhere else to go!. But, once it gets warm, it's no good to drink, it's starting to spoil once you notice that carton expanding!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it's spoiled!.!.!.!. throw it out!. It has gotten too old == and it's causing too much acid!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i would suggest that it has been left out of the fridge for awhile and it has started to fermentWww@FoodAQ@Com
