i heard it's called a "why bother" in coffee shops!. That's a funny name!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I pretty much had that opinion prior to pregnancy!. When I could no longer drink the caffeine I was used to consuming!. After that, as long as it's fresh and good tasting, I found that the lack of caffeine no longer bothered me!. I'd rather have fresh brewed decaf than hours old regular and most restaurants are more willing to brew a fresh decaf since it's not ordered as much and sits around!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't see a point to it as I don't like coffee!. However many people do like the taste of coffee but don't want the caffeine so they love it!.

I understand why coffee shops call it a "why bother"!. Coffee was only introduced becuase of the stimulating effects of caffeine in the first place!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For health reasons, I've cut back on my caffeine, and I rotate decaf coffee into my schedule when I feel like a cup and I've already had my regular coffee!.

Working in behavioral mental health, I find giving a client decaf coffee also reduces the chances they try to assault you, or engage in other undesired behavior!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

i suppose it could be to get the taste of coffee without having to deal with too much caffeine!. i like my coffee with plenty of caffeine in it but if i drink it past 5 or 6 at night, i wont be able to fall asleep!. decaf gives me the yummy taste without keeping me up all night!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you get a good brand, it tastes good and you can sleep!
Some people can't drink regular (I can't) so it is an alternative!. Pregnant women shouldn't have that much caffine either, and some medications have a bad reaction to cafinated drinks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some people actually like the taste of a warm coffee
i know i do with lots of cream and lots of sugar!Www@FoodAQ@Com

the flavor of it is wonderfulWww@FoodAQ@Com

pointless!.!.!.!.!.!.!.coffee doesn't taste good unless it has caffine and you have a cigarette with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's less bitter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
