Answers:
Energy drinks are not designed or intended for kids!. The makers do not recommend giving them to kids 12 and under!. From 13 - 16 it is iffy!. However having an energy drink every now and then will not hurt teens!. But Monsters actually count as 2 since it is so large!.

Having 3 monsters is really bad!. All of the makers recommend against having more than 2 energy drinks in a day!. As I said a single can of Monster is already 2 so that should be the most an adult should have!. For teens 1, let alone 3 is simply too much for teens!. You essentially had 6 energy drinks!. That is bad!.

Yes these have a lot of sugar and caffeine but it is not as bad as some make it out to be!. Soda has as much or more sugar!. Coffee has more caffeine!. However it is the combination of the two with all of the other stimulatns which can make them bad when too many are consumed!. That is why the makers, including those of healthy energy drinks recomend against having more than 2 in a day!.

Monsters have 80mg of cafeine per serving!. 160 per can!. The maximum safe level of caffeine we should consume in a day is 300mg!. So two cans too much caffeine for adults, let alone teens!. 3 cans has 480mg which is way too much!.

Unlike what others are claiming dispute what studies they read energy drinks do not cause heart problems!. You can have problems from an elevated heart rate!. But that can happen from anything that raises the heart rate including exercise!. Blaming the energy drinks is simply ludicrase!. However long term effects of excess caffeine on a regular basis can cause heart problems but that really is a seperate issue!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you've probably heard of these things: sugar rushes and sugar burnouts!. Kids your age tend to use monster for parties or a substitute for getting high or what not!. In my school, kids that use them aren't the sharpest, and a half of them sleep in class after 2 hours of monster and football!. the others get in trouble for moving too fast or jittering in their seat!. so, NO!. To tell you the truth yeah it's bad and worst of all, its made of bull pee, or i heard of, and i believe it, i never drunk Monster and never will, friends in the ffa say it is made out of bull's pee cause its hormones get you engerized, so my advice, don't drink monster or red bull!Www@FoodAQ@Com

7th graders really shouldn't be having that much caffeine and sugar at once, you're small and still developing so it will just hit your system faster and harder!. It will make you jittery, and then make you crash!. It also puts some strain on your heart and pancreas!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
