Shouldn't egg nog be sold year round?!
Who else loves this stuff ---I hate the fact I can't get it whenever I want!! It comes out at the local store for one week around Thanksgiving then disappears until Dec 1 and as soon as it's Jan 1 it's off the shelf!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I LOVE it, but don't think it would sell year round - there's just not enough consumer demand, and refrigerated space is the most expensive "real estate" in a grocery store!. Did you know manufacturers pay "slotting" fees of about $2500/year just to have their items in grocery stores!? Most dairies couldn't afford to pay the slotting fees for a product like egg nog that wouldn't have high volume for most of the year!.
Have you ever tried making homemade egg not when you're needing a fix in the middle of July!? It's pretty easy and way tastier than the pre-made kind in stores!.

Mamma mia, I'd be as big as a forest if the stores sell the eggnog all year around!. I love, love that drink!. Chocolates are enough to have around all year long for my health!. A good thought though as an egg nog aficionado myself, yummy!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can buy Egg nog all year round at an IGA I shop at!. So long as customers are buying it they will keep stock of it!.
