Enough caffeine pumped into the system in a short enough length of time can make you feel light headed, comparable to being tipsy!. This is because your heart beats faster, and therefore blood flows around your body at an accelerated rate!. Forcing yourself to the point of exhaustion through exercise has a similar effect for the same reasons!. It shouldn't lead to a new problem, assuming you don't consider an addiction to coffee a problem!. Unfortunately, a large proportion of adults are victims of caffeine addiction without knowing it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't believe you can be "drunk on espresso" seeing as the term Drunk referrs to alcohol!.

She could have a caffeine high from too much coffee but thats about it!.

Unless of course she is adding alcohol to her coffee!. But too much caffeine is not illegalWww@FoodAQ@Com

No, and espresso won't even get you as "hopped up" as regular coffee!.!.!.contrary to what most people seem to think, it has LESS caffeine in it than just regular coffee, though it does have more flavor!.
