Where in the world has the most potent green teas?!
Of japanese, chinese, and american japanese is for sure the best cause its so strong, but is there a more potent variety somewhere else!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You would correct in saying that Japan produces some of the strongest tasting green teas!. Since they all come from the same bush, the variation lies in climate and differences in processing!. I would say that by far the most intense green is a good matcha, which is used in Japanese tea ceremony!. It is literally 100% tea leaves ground to powder fine consistency and whisked in water!. It doesn't get much stronger than that!. One of the finest grades of Japanese tea is called gyukuro, are there are many subgrades within that category!. Gyukuro is extremely grassy tasting and when properly made, produces a deep green tea that cannot be matched by any other kind of tea, IMO!. So, for pure green tea intensity, Japan is the place to get it!. Black tea however, is another matter entirely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
