How can I brew espresso?!

You're really not going to get the same result from a regular coffee machine as you would an espresso machine!. The problem is that the water stays in the grounds too long in a traditional drip machine, which is sometimes why dark coffee ends up tasting bitter when brewed this way!.
If you're not looking to make a big investment in a home espresso machine (they can be really expensive!!), I recommend the small Italian-style stove top coffee makers!. They're pretty much a percolator, but they do an excellent job!. I've got one that cost me about $20, but they range from about $10-50!. I have a Bialetti and it works very well!
