Hank may have said it in jest, but it is true!.!.!. drinking more water than your body can handle can in fact put you into a drowning situation!.
Your cells will try to assimilate the water as best as possible to the point that the cell walls begin to break down (I am sure there is a better word for this) - and essentially you drown from the inside!.
