How to make a double shot espresso without a coffee machine?!


Question: How to make a double shot espresso without a coffee machine!?
I have no coffee machine and this is my first time making espresso!. I'm trying to make a dessert in which double shot espresso was called for!.

I know you used to be able to buy bottles of brewed espresso!. Try looking in grocery stores and places, if not then stove-top brewers can be a lot cheaper than "true" espresso machines!.

Other than that you could go to your local coffee bar and ask for a double shot to go as if its going into a recipe then use that!. If you're using it in a recipe it shouldn't matter too much!.

A spoonful of instant coffee dissolved within 1oz of hot water would make the something simler to espresso!.

If you need fresh espresso (i!.e!. serving directly to people) then I would rrecommendeda sstove topbrewer or invest in a "true" espresso machine and enjoy!.

Interms of what time of coffee beans to go for try a blend like After Dinner!.

Coffee from Central America would be good!. Avoid Colombian as it tends to be sweet and may become very sickly in a sweet desert!.

Espresso is made with boiling water pressured through coffee grinds!. The machine does the pressure part!. Even a stove-top espresso pot functions the same!. Without water being pressured through the coffee grinds, it is not possible to get the concentrated form of coffee, otherwise known as espresso!.

But for making dessert, it is easily accomplished without a coffee machine - just buy a double shot of espresso from a coffee house and bring it home!. The recipe for your dessert calls for the flavor of coffee, and espresso provides just that, without too much liquid to throw off your baking!. Since it is not for drinking, there is no need to worry about consuming it 'fresh on the spot', as that's how espresso is usually enjoyed!. Bring the coffee home, and off you go!.

To make a proper espresso, you need a machine that can produce at least 9bar of pressure!. If you are only using it for a recipe you can use a powdered instant espresso coffee that they sell at most supermarkets since you only need the flavor!.

Another option would be to invest in a stovetop Moka which uses pressure to make coffee, it's not quite espresso but it's stronger and more flavorful than coffee and it's the closest you'll get without spending too much!. It's also good to have and you'll be able to use it in the future!.

They cost about 20usd, most supermarkets and coffee shops have them!.
