If you can't get cheese cloth, try a coffee filter!. But cheese cloth is best!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could use a coffee filter as a strainer, you may have to use several filters and strain the liquid in batches!. I sometimes use Handi-wipe disposable towels to strain liquids, they are heavier and more porous-just make sure to rinse them first to get rid of any chemical smell!. You can find Handi-wipes in the paper towel section of most grocery stores!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cheesecloth - for about $2 you can get as much as you'll need for a lifetime and can be used for many things!. It is a fine gauze and can be found at any fabric store or department store that has a fabric section like Walmart!. I use it to strain tea leaves and then just toss it in the garbage with the tea remains - real easy and no mess!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
