Help! I boiled milk in a kettle. What do I do?!
I only knew until recently that you couldn't boil milk in a kettle!. I'm not going to do it again, but it left this disgusting odor and corrosion of the element inside!. I used a scraper to take off the burnt milk but it's a bit rusted and the metal looks a bit cloudy!. I washed it out with soap but I wanted to know if there's anything stronger that will make the kettle look brand spankin' new!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Um!. I bet you know this now!.!.!.but milk doesn't belong in a kettle, it belongs in a (non-stick) saucepan where you can watch it, stir it, and clean it easily!.
Water goes in a kettle!.
I assume you mean, like a teapot with only one small hole on top!. DONT put anything but water in those!.
I would through the thing away and don't do that again!.!.!.

Try making a paste of baking soda and water, this should take the stain out
