Question: When you ask for "extra hot" coffee at Starbucks, how exactly do they make it extra hot!?
I tend to ask for it this way because I have to carry it back to my office and it gets cold on the way!. But I have never seen exactly what they do behind the scenes to get the coffee extra hot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They use the steamer wand on the espresso machine to heat the coffee more!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

well, they don't do anything for drip coffee to make it extra hot, it already is anyway!. but for a latte or something they will steam the milk more!. usually milk is steamed to 160, but if you ask for it to be extra hot they will make it 180!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
