It's absolutely possible to be addicted to Coca Cola, but consider yourself lucky that the Coke you drink now isn't the same "recipe" as the Coke that was sold however many years ago!. When Coca-Cola was first produced, it actually had cocaine (not the cocaine you buy off the street, but cocaine nonetheless) in it!. People were REALLY addicted to coca-cola back then!.

You might want to go to the doctor for a physical, just to see if you are diabetic/hypoglycemic (sp!?)!. If you feel awkward when you don't drink a soda, that might be a reason why!. If your doctor says everything is fine, then you gotta just stop if it's bothering you that much!. Try the caffeine free, sugar free version, or change brand and commit to it!.

I hope you're just addicted, and not diabetic!.!.!.!.good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm the same way, although most of mine actually IS the caffeine addiction, and I suspect yours is, too!. If you drink caffeine-free Coke one day and have a blinding headache by noon or so -- that's a good sign that it's a caffeine addiction!. Your body is just used to the Coca Cola instead of coffee, but if you were typically drinking Mountain Dew or Dr!. Pepper, you would still have the same craving (caffeine + sugar together)!. And yes, any addiction is hard to break, especially when it's something that's not only tasty but so easily obtainable!. But here's a thought, too - try drinking one of the vitamin-enhanced waters out there, see if there's one with a high B-vitamin and/or ginseng type complex (not an energy drink! They're loaded with caffeine)!. If you can find vitamin water that you like, the vitamins in it MIGHT help you break the caffeine addiction somewhat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

its a mixture of the caffeine and the sugar!. the sugar boosts your energy, making you feel more active while the caffeine makes your body think you've got more energy, thus picking your body up more, and your body gets used to it!. when you stop you will feel more tired and lack of energy!. any headaches you get would be towards the caffeine withdrawal!. just remember, just because its an everyday product, caffeine is still a drug and is still addictive with consequences of misuse (not saying you are, just saying)!. i have a slight addiction on coke as it helps me keep awake but i drink it randomly so my body wont depend on it at certain times!. also, keeping off of it for a couple of days here and there help your body break the habit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You don't have to like, or even drink coffee to be addicted to caffeine!. Green tea has caffeine too and I find that when I drink tea everyday!.!.!.say a few weeks in a row!.!.!.I feel all sleepy and irritable and NEED my tea every day after that! It's the caffeine in coke that's bringing you back!.!.!.and I say!.!.!.!.slow down and have caffeine-free days!. It's not healthy to be ingesting it frequently anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Maybe it is the flavor!.!.!.

My friend was addicted!.
Still is actually!.
She almost had to get surgery in her throat or some problems with her jaw!.

SO if it really an addiction I would seek help from an adult!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
