Question: Is it bad if i leave the tea bags in the water even after they have seeped!?
When I make tea, I don't take the bags out until after I'm done with the tea!. Is there anything wrong with that!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It's not bad health wise but it will make the tea bitter!. If you like the taste of bitter tea then by all means!. Go for it!.

You want to steep for 1-2 minutes for mild tea
2-3 for a medium strength tea
4-5 for strong tea!.!.

anything longer will make it bitter and you don't get the flavor of the tea as much!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Only that by doing this, you can make your tea too tart or bitter!. As long as the flavor does not bother you, it's a personal choice!. also, if you add anything to your tea (sugar, creamer, honey) the tea bag will absorb most of it and not add as much to your actual tea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not bad if it's regular teas, but there are certain tea's that are made to help certain things (i!.e!., sleepy time tea, herbal cough and cold teas, etc!.) that's not good to over steep!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, but it would probably make the tea stronger tasting!.
I don't know why you wouldn't just take it out, but it's personal prefference I suppose!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mom does that!. I don't care for it, though!. It makes the tea waaaay to strong for my liking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

for herbal teas, yes it is not a good idea to oversteep!. for regular tea, you can!.
