What do I do about a soda bottle that won't open?!

Question: What do I do about a soda bottle that won't open!?
I know, it's pathetic!. The problem is the top won't come off the soda bottle!. I tried running hot water over it(figuring that would maybe loosen the top up) with no luck!. Would anyone have any suggestions that could help me!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Get a kitchen knife and hit the bottle top on the top edge creating a small dent then try!. also works on stubborn jam jar lids as wellWww@FoodAQ@Com

Is this a screwtop or a bottle cap!? If it's a screwtop, put the bottle in a vise and use pliers to turn the top!. If it's a metal bottle cap, use a "church key" opener to pry it off!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Last ditch effort, just cut into that sucker with a blade (carefully), and pour the contents into a pitcher!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put it in the freezer for a few mintues so the cap and top of the bottle shrink to relieve the tightnessWww@FoodAQ@Com

Run the cap under hot water for about 30 seconds or longer!.!. get a rag and put it on the cap an open it!.

Hope that works!
